Built on the site of the Desert Inn, the entire Wynn resort complex (which includes Encore) is beautifully designed—and the carpeting is no exception. Modern, exciting floral patterns pop against the bright red background; it’s luxurious, fun, and contemporary all at the same time. The carpet’s design is inspired by Picasso’s Le Rêve.
By 2023, Wynn had upgraded some carpeting with new techniques and styles not seen in Vegas, yet. The Wynn Esplanade's refreshed carpeting design uses a 3D-relief technique to give the elements dimension (and make it feel extra soft underfoot). The Awakening Theatre's prefunction area combines intersecting die-cut carpeting and tile layout. The gaming floor also got a more restrained makeover with less density and a more restricted palette.
