The first casino we played craps in (and did pretty good), Plaza was opened as the Union Plaza in 1971 (later dropped the ‘Union’). The carpeting is full-on kitsch: showgirls, stars, heart sunglasses, dice, martinis, fireworks—you name it; it’s on there. The sportsbook carpeting feels out-of-place here: it's more modern blue-yellow-grey thatched pattern would be more at home at The Strat.

A 2023 renovation added 2,500 ft² of casino space in the form of a 21+ non-smoking slots area.
