Opened as part of the City Center development, Aria’s design is influenced heavily by curves. Its carpeting is very contemporary using geometic, ungulating patterns and layers throughout. A similar geometric style can be found in neighboring Vdara Hotel & Spa (no casino!)
Crystals is an impressively designed mall, but the most fascinating attraction is not a shop—it’s James Turrell’s AKHOB light installation inside the Louis Vuitton store. We couldn’t take pictures inside, but it was an amazing experience. His other light installation is in the tram vestibule.
